Taking place September 19 – 22, 2019 at the DisneylandParis Resort, the medals for the Disneyland Paris runDisney event have been released, and wow, are they ever gorgeous! I would love to get the chance to participate in a runDisney France race one day. Maybe even get to bring that coveted Castle to Chateau medal home with me… In the meantime , I’ll just be over here drooling at these beauties! Which one is your fave? For me it’s hands down Mickey & Minnie. They’re so cute!

Peter Pan themed for the kids races is totally on the spot! I love the colors on this one, and Big Ben on the neck ribbon is a nice touch. Its a big year for The Lion King, what with the live action movie being released on July 19th, so I get why they added this medal. I am a bit disappointed in how boring this one turned out, and I feel like the creative team really could’ve jazzed this medal up with some color. Maybe that’s just me though? The red designed neck ribbon helps, and i think that the bronze used is a good addition, but i’d like to see some orange and yellow colors added, even if it had just been on the “2019” part. What do you all think?

I am over the moon for both the 10k & Half Marathon designs this year! Rapunzel’s design is so feminine and fun, with a sparkly purple background and bright gold design. I even spy Pascal! The lanterns on the neck ribbon just bring this whole design to life. Then, there’s the Half medal. This is probably my favorite runDisney medal EVER. Mickey & Minnie grace this design together in full color, with a Sleeping Beauty castle backdrop. The design team really outdid themselves on this one! Kudos to those of you earning this one!!
I love that these two medals complement each other. Earn Aladdin by completing both the 10k & the half marathon, earn Genie by completing the 5k, 10k, and the half marathon! If you sign up for the 36k challenge, you’ll also earn the 31k Aladdin medal! I wish they offered the 36k challenge in Orlando. I would sign up in a heartbeat. My medal rack could use more bling!

The granddaddy of all runDisney medals has to be the Castle to Chateau medal. To earn this bad boy you have to run both a US runDisney half marathon or marathon in Orlando, Fl., and the runDisney Paris half marathon in the same calendar year. Isn’t it pretty? Congrats to any of you earning this medal this year. What an accomplishment!
